Phone Conference Benefits
Phone conference solutions help businesses improve
business processes and communications while significantly
reducing the cost of conferencing. Compared to conferencing
products from service providers, organizations using
IVCi audio conferencing solutions benefit from:
Reduce Costs
Phone conferencing solutions deliver the benefits and
advantages of conferencing - reduced travel costs, more
collaboration, and higher productivity - in a more cost-effective
way. Compared to conferencing bridges from outside service
providers, our audio conferencing solution eliminates
costly per-minute per person audio port surcharges and
monthly subscription fees. You can conduct as many conferences
as you need, with as many people as you need...without
incurring additional charges above the line toll costs.
If you spend more than £500 per month on outsourced
audio conferencing services, we will save you money
.
Ease Of Use
Full integration with MS Outlook® or Lotus Notes®
provides a single entry point for setting up the users
and related conference call details. All relevant information
is generated automatically and sent to the users in
the conference. Once the meeting has started, the leader
has full control via a web interface and/or the telephone
keypad. Users have the ability with the web interface
to allow them call control functions as well as meeting
choreography, i.e. to raise their "hand" when they wish
to ask a question for example. As in face to face meetings
the leader can set up a breakout group to create a sub
conference on the fly. Integrated Web conferencing tools
allow PC applications to be easily shared and fully
rounds out this powerful conferencing solution. To further
increase the productivity of the meeting integrated
voting and polling deliver faster decisions.
Security
Phone conference access is protected through
the use of conference IDs, unique participant PINs and
passwords. The host can hear a roll call of participants
on the call at any time and can lock conferences to
prevent additional participants from joining. Entry
and exit announcements can be configured in addition
for the ability to eject participants and lock the conference
once everyone is connected. For those using VoIP technology,
our solution can be placed behind the firewall to take
advantage of existing corporate IP security already
in place for local users or remote users that may be
on a Virtual Private Network connection. This same mechanism
ensures that any shared documents stay within your own
security, with additional SSL encryption able to be
applied as well.Flexibility
Phone conferencing solutions are designed to be easy
to administer. They provide the flexibility of having
control and management of the conference either via
the telephone, your PC or a combination of both. While
enjoying the substantial cost savings and enhanced security
of an in-house phone conferencing solution, you can
also be assured that you will not incur burdensome administrative
costs. The process of adding, changing, and deleting
user accounts, setting user privileges, managing system
resources, monitoring system status, and generating
reports is simple and straightforward, requiring very
little of an administrator's time. Some of these functions
can be performed from the built-in user interface or
integrated into your own Microsoft Outlook® or Lotus
Notes® system.
